No.F.11(10)/95/Power/669 Whereas the Lieutenant Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi is of opinion that it is necessary that the power to sanction all types of loads, presently being exercised by the Board would also have to be exercised by distribution entities independently without being referred to the Government for approval.

Now, therefore, in exercise of power conferred by section 22-B of the Indian Electricity Act, 1910 (9 of 1910) read with Govt. of India, Ministry of home Affairs notification No. 2/19/59-Judl/II dated 10th Nov., 1959 and all other power enabling him in this behalf, the Lieutenant Governor of national Capital Territory of Delhi, hereby makes the following order in respect of Delhi Electricity Control Order, 1959.

i)

the clause 3 of Delhi Electricity Control order, 1959 be deleted.

ii)

In clause 5 of the aforesaid order, reference of clause 3 be deleted.

iii)

In clause 6 of the aforesaid order, IInd proviso relating to grant of power exceeding 100 KW which was substituted vide notification no. F.4(18)67-EB dated 14/11/1978 be deleted.
